Summer has been a busy time here for use at Quail Hollow Veterinary Hospital. The team and I have been working extremely hard and we are so are pleased to announce that we have been awarded the American Animal Hospital Association’s top honor, AAHA Accreditation. This has been a professional goal for our hospital since we first opened. We are very proud of this accomplishment, but what does it mean for you, our client?
Achieving this accreditation means that our hospital holds itself to a higher standard, and that your pet will receive the highest quality level of veterinary care. Unlike human hospitals, accreditation by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) is not required and is completely voluntary.
AAHA has been recognizing veterinary hospitals for their commitment to maintaining high standards of care for over 80 years. To earn AAHA accreditation, veterinary hospitals must be evaluated on approximately 900 standards that assess the quality of safety protocols, equipment, veterinary knowledge, and other key areas of pet health care. Accredited hospitals are also home to leading pet health care providers. Only 12-15% of all veterinary practices in North America are accredited, and we are proud to be part of this elite group.
The team here at Quail Hollow Veterinary Hospital is dedicated to delivering excellent care for your pet. Because pets are our passion and keeping them healthy is our #1 priority, AAHA helps us stay prepared and equipped to provide the level of care that your pet deserves. For more information on AAHA and what this accreditation means for you and your pet, please visit HealthyPet.com.
We are very proud of this accomplishment and will continue to provide the best care possible for our patients. We look forward to continually elevating our medical standards and quality of care we provide.
